Automated Bike Rentals
as Easy as 1-2-3

On Bike Share can give your business a boost in flexibility, security, and convenience for both you and your customers. Our automated bike rental solution is a great way to provide your customers with safe, convenient and environmentally friendly transportation on their schedule - where and when they want it. With our automated bike rental solution, your customers can use their ID card to check-out bikes any time, and ride our clean and easy to operate bikes wherever they need to go, without needing to lock their bike to a special kiosk or bike station along their trip. You get the convenience of fully automated electronically controlled check-out and check-in of bikes, as well as the security of integrated bike locks with our OnLock(tm) technology, full customer usage tracking, and off-line billing of credit cards on file.

Safe and Easy-to-Operate Bikes

On Bike Share uses specially designed shaft drive bikes with internal gearing. This design eliminates external moving parts so users are protected from grease, grime, and they will never have a chain fall off. Our bikes are also simple to operate, with easy twist grip shifting and reliable all-weather braking. Our bicycles also feature our OnLock technology, a frame-integrated lock that allows riders the convenience to lock the bike to any standard bike rack without being limited to specially designed kiosks or bike stations, so they can always park close to their destination. Your customers can then return bikes when it's convenient to any On Bike Share location, where their return is recorded by the software and avialable for reporting and/or back-end billing. Once checked back in, the bike is immediately available to another customer for rental.

Fully Automated Solution

On Bike Share uses fully automated Key Stations that electronically control and track customer bike rentals and returns. The backend software captures user IDs, bike IDs, rental times, and bike locations to give you a complete picture of each rental. With this information, back end billing can be done off-line or data can be sent to your existing billing system for automatic charges to credit cards on file. Our Key Stations can be installed into a foyer, building entrance or any covered, sheltered area - so you can put one just about anywhere. Plus, our bikes can be locked and stored on standard bike racks, so selecting locations is easier and deployments are faster than with kiosk-based systems.

Low Maintenance, Low Hassle

The On Bike Share system is inherently low maintenance. The bikes have very few parts that ever need adjustment or tuning, and the key stations are automated and secure. The management software can be accessed from any computer, and provides comprehensive information on system usage and status. If you do back-end billing, you have infinite flexiblity for how your customers use the system - monthly flat rate billing, free rental periods, number of rentals per day/week/month, pay-per-use, etc. You can also lock specific users/abusers out of the system, and run reports so you know where your bikes are at any given time.
