Welcome to the On Bike Share System

Bike share is coming to your property. Download the Getting Started presentation Here.
1. Prepare Your Location
You will need a concrete pad for the bike share. See the drawing below of the Pad Sizing Guide or see drawing below for dimensions of the concrete pad needed based on the number of bikes in your system.
2. Prepare For Delivery
The bikes and racks will arrive by truck on a pallet. The delivery truck will need a location to unload the pallet until the mechanic arrives to assemble the bikes. Store the pallet in an indoor area so the boxes are not exposed to the weather.
3. System Installation
We assemble the bikes and install the racks. You'll be contacted prior to the mechanic coming on-site. The assembly may not occur until several days after delivery based on the mechanic schedule and weather.
1. Become an Admin
You will receive an email invitation to become a system Administrator in the On Bike Share software. This will allow you to manage your system from the OBS dashboard. See diagram below.
2. Accept Riders
All tenants must register for the bike share program. Tenants cannot use the bikes until you activate them. From the dashboard, click on the number under Pending Users to activate or decline tenants.
3. Monitor Battery Levels
Use the dashboard to monitor battery levels on the bikes. If batteries low, replace with charged batteries.
Manage Your System from the dashboard
1. Pending Users
Pending Users are tenants that have registered with the OBS app to use the bike share and are waiting to be approved. The admin must accept or decline each registration. Riders cannot access the bikes until you accept them into the system. Click on the number under Pending Users. Click on a user name from the list. In the upper right, choose either Activate or Decline. Repeat this for each Pending User.
2. Low Batteries
The electronic locks on your bikes are powered by swappable, rechargeable batteries. If the battery level drops below 40%, riders cannot unlock that bike. Click on the Low Battery text to see which bikes have a low battery. Use the provided tool to unscrew the cover of the Bluetooth lock. Remove the battery and replace with a freshly charged battery. Close lid tightly and screw the lid closed. Use the charger and spare battery included with your system to keep spare batteries charged. A fully charged battery should last 3-4 months.
3. Problem Reports
Problem Reports are submitted by riders. From the dashboard, click on the number under Problem Reports. For each problem report, click on it, review the details and any photos provided. Click on the Actions button in the upper right to Close the report (indicating that you have resolved this issue) or Assign this Problem Report to another Admin on your system.
