What is On Bike Share for Hotels?On Bike Share offers your guests a fun and healthy way to explore your area. Hotel bikes allows guests to visit local destintions and attractinos without needing to hunt for parking spots or pay for parking. Bicycles also allow your guests to explore at their own pace and experience your area in a way that you just can't sitting in a vehicle. Plus, in many cases, bikes are faster than cars because you can park closer to final destinations and reduce waiting time at intersections. How does On Bike Share work?Bikes are docked to a bike station where guests will start and end their rides. Guests can join the system and get automatically activated using their credit card or using a password that you provide (similar to using a wifi password). Using the App, guests can unlock bikes in 2 clicks and quickly be on their way. While away from the hotel, guests can use the secondary lock built into the bike frame to lock the bike temporarily while they shop or dine so the bikes are not left unlocked if unattended. Can we customize the bike-sharing experience to match our hotel's branding?Yes! Customizing the bikes is included with every system. When you provide us your logo, we will send you a mockup of you system for your review. We want the system to be uniquely yours, so we offer branding on the bike frame, baskets as well as custom painting of key bike components to color match your hotel colors and logo. Will On Bike Share require a lot of effort to implement?No, the On Bike Share system can be up and running within hours of delivery. The racks can be installed into any concrete surface and do not need any electrical. Racks take about 5-10 minutes each to install. The bicycles arrive 95% assembled on the pallets, so all you need to do is attach the pedals and baskets. We provide you with personalized training and offer free support. Is On Bike Share suitable for all types of hotels?Any hotel can be a bicycle hotel simply by providing free or paid hotel bike rentals. Whether you are located in a city or in a suburban area, if your hotel can access nearby destinations by sidewalk, bike path or designated bike lanes, guests will use bikes. As long as they have destinations to ride to and safe routes to get there, they will use bikes. Can we track bike usage and guest behaviour?The On Bike Share records every ride so you always know who has the bikes checked out. However, the bikes are not GPS tracked, so you cannot monitor where they are without using an additional tracking device such as an Apple AirTag.
